1. Introduction
Neotalk ("the App") is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for users to access mental health resources even anonymously. This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the guidelines and expectations for user conduct within the App to ensure a positive and respectful experience for all users.
2. User Conduct
a. Respect and Sensitivity: Users must treat others with respect, empathy, and sensitivity. Any behaviour that is discriminatory, harassing, threatening, or offensive to others is strictly prohibited.
b. Anonymity: Users are encouraged to maintain their anonymity within the App. Revealing personal information or attempting to identify other users without their consent is not permitted.
c. Legal Compliance: Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the App. This includes respecting copyright laws, intellectual property rights, and any other legal restrictions.
d. Prohibited Content: Users may not upload, post, or share content that is illegal, infringes upon the rights of others, or is otherwise inappropriate for a mental health-focused community. This includes but is not limited to:
- Content that promotes violence, self-harm, or suicide.
- Hate speech, discrimination, or bullying.
- Pornographic or sexually explicit material.
- False or misleading information about mental health conditions or treatments.
3. Use of Resources
a. Videos, Blogs, and Articles: Users may access and engage with the resources provided within the App, including videos, blogs, articles, and other educational materials, for personal use only. Users may not distribute, reproduce, or modify these resources without permission from the copyright owner.
b. Resource Contribution: Users may contribute content to the App, such as comments, feedback, or personal stories, in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the User Conduct section.
4. Enforcement
a. Reporting Violations: Users are encouraged to report any violations of this Acceptable Use Policy to the Neotalk team at hello@neotalk.care . Reports should include sufficient information to identify the alleged violation and may be submitted anonymously.
b. Consequences of Violations: Neotalk reserves the right to take appropriate action in response to violations of this Acceptable Use Policy, including but not limited to:
- Removing or restricting access to offending content.
- Temporarily or permanently suspending user accounts.
- Reporting illegal activity to law enforcement authorities.
5. Changes to this Policy
Neotalk reserves the right to update or modify this Acceptable Use Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised policy within the App. Continued use of the App after the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
